About Me

Hi, I'm Johanna
I’m a registered nurse by profession, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. When I’m not on the clock, you’ll find me diving into code as a hobbyist web developer and programmer, designing icons and typefaces, or blogging about life’s random (and occasionally dopey) moments. I’m also a full-time cat and horse enthusiast, plant parent, and someone who firmly believes that your wardrobe is way better when you’ve made it yourself. Sewing my own clothes is my little way of combining creativity with style. Life’s too short not to explore what makes you curious, so I’m always balancing my time between learning new things, creating something cool, and enjoying the simple joys like spending time with the people (and animals) I love. Stick around — it’s never boring around here.
What I Do
Programming & Web Dev
I enjoy exploring the world of web development and programming, turning ideas into functional projects. From designing intuitive interfaces to writing clean code, it’s a creative process that always challenges me to learn and grow.
Icon & Typeface Design
Creating icons and typefaces is my way of blending creativity with precision. I love experimenting with shapes, lines, and styles to craft designs that are unique and visually impactful. It’s a rewarding way to bring ideas to life.
Blogging
My blog is where I share thoughts on everything from serious reflections to lighthearted, random moments. Writing is my way of expressing myself, connecting with others, and finding humor and meaning in everyday life.
Nursing
As a registered nurse, I focus on providing care and support to others. It’s a role that keeps me grounded, teaches me empathy, and reminds me of the value of compassion every day.
Animal & Plant Care
I’m a proud cat and horse lover and a dedicated plant parent. Caring for animals and nurturing plants brings me peace and joy, adding a touch of nature and connection to my daily life.
Sewing & Upscaling
I design and sew my own clothes as a way to combine creativity and practicality. There’s something deeply satisfying about creating pieces that are uniquely mine and that reflect my personal style.
